LHS Students! If you are looking for a way to get involved with your community, have fun, earn service hours and fill in a void in your social calendar, please consider LHS Student Council (STUCO)! Your STUCO sponsors are Mrs. Barker and Mr. Brooks. Last night after our football game, STUCO members and students gathered for a bonfire and fellowship! We have picture proof that our principal, Mrs. Bailey is always putting out ALL the fires! Special thanks to the following: Trap Hill Volunteer fire department; Mr. Jimmy Workman for arranging our bonfire and to Mrs. Doss, Principal of Fairdale Elementary for supplying the lumber, and to Mr. Allen and Mrs. Vance for assisting with supervision! Our other STUCO activities this year have included Trap-Hill-O-Ween Community Trick or Treat; a trip to Fairdale Elementary, wearing Halloween Costumes for an indoor parade & to read to the kiddos. We also sent get well cards to a fellow high school student at WWHS after being injured in a game. Our next STUCO meeting is Thursday, Nov 9 (Due to no school on Nov 10). Let's build up this program and continue to grow, have fun and serve our community! GO RAIDERS!

Liberty High School, Congratulations for achieving 92.648% attendance for the 2nd month of school! We are 2nd place for best attendance percentage in the county for high schools! Our goal is 93% for every month and we are so close to it! We reached it the 1st month and we can do it again for the 3rd month. Let your students know how proud we are for coming to school and to keep it up as we go through the school year. Our feeder schools deserve a congratulations as well. They set the tone throughout our students lives of why attendance is important. Trap Hill - 93.930% (Increased from last month!) Marsh Fork - 91.997% Clear Fork - 91.156% Fairdale - 93.385 % We are highlighting students who have perfect attendance for the month and who have only missed 1 day or less for the month. Our featured students for the month of September are : Alexis Hutchison (Perfect Attendance) - She enjoys attending school because she has found peers that motivate her. She thinks attendance is important to prepare you for the real world. Ethan Perryman (Missed 1 day or less): He says, he missed 80 days of school last year and is repeating failed classes. His goal is to attend more school to achieve good grades/credits. His peers help motivate him to attend school!
