For the month of November, we will be having an attendance incentive! We will host a movie with popcorn. Students cannot miss more than 1 day of school; excused and unexcused absences count. There are only 15 school days in November, let's show that Liberty High School can have the best attendance in Raleigh County for the month!

These ladies won their first quad!! The Raiders walked away with a win against Westside, Van and Mount View!! 18-15-2 (first quad win in Liberty’s history per Mr. Kuhn)

Free afterschool tutoring
Raleigh County Schools is happy to announce opportunities for students across the county to receive free afterschool tutoring. These services are made possible through Extended Program grants and provided by your child’s home school certified teachers.
Tutoring services may include…
· In person one-on-one or small group - core content academic sessions
· In person one-on-one or small group - critical school success tutoring sessions for items such as (organization skills, technology skills, study skills, test taking tips, etc.)
· In person one-on-one or small group - enrichment support (high stakes test prep SAT, ACT, etc., academic fairs, college/job readiness preparation, etc.)
Please contact your child’s school for details on scheduling tutoring services.
Not all schools offer after school services or services in all areas.

Communities In Schools of Liberty High partnered with Academy of Careers and Technology Cosmetology Center to offer free hair cuts to the students of LHS! ACT offered free washes, haircuts, & styling to 16 of our students. We are thankful to ACT for making our students feel special today! We plan to partner with ACT again in December.

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Community
On 10-21-2022 Liberty High School will be hosting a chili cook off at Liberty High School before the Liberty High vs. James Monroe football game. The event will take place from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. There will be fun activities for parents, students, and the community to participate in as well as a chili cook off. There will be a video gaming trailer, rock wall, giant corn cornhole boards, face painting & Hilltop Coffee Company will be set up! You can purchase tickets 5 tickets for $5.00 at the event. Each ticket will allow you to taste a sample of chili per booth. You will also be given a coin to cast your vote for the people’s choice award for best chili.
There will be judging for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place by celebrity judges Kathy & Cooper from 105.9 WTNJ! The winners will be announced at half time during the football game. All proceeds go to the Liberty High School general fund. We look forward to kicking off the game with you here at Liberty High School.
